Australians can really be quite ridiculous at times.
Why do we need guns and ammo if we are housebound?

Farmers may potentially have a valid excuse but that’s about it.

I stand corrected. Graves has its first diagnosed case of corona.

"The Graves County Health Department on Monday announced that a Graves County resident in his 70’s tested positive for COVID-19. According to the health department, the man is in isolation at a local hospital."

I had the idea of why not target the population that is vulnerable to covid19 and pay just them to be quarantined?

The effect of inflation that this is going to cause is going to last a few lifetimes. Ever read about Germanys hyper inflation after WWI. The morons at the switch are heading us to that destiny as we speak. Trying to not get the virus is not practical by any means . All of the countries collectively put the problem on hold hoping it would just go away so the problem got exponentially bigger and exponentially more expensive. I also think that the numbers countries are providing is propaganda and are astronomically higher than released. I'll bet china is still getting 20k more cases a day instead of todays figure of 31. The Federal Reserve is going to print money with nothing backing it and make a profit from it.

That only happens when you pay off your depts.
With no gold backed loans . phony money goes out ,phony money goes back in Plus the interest so in the long run money is removed from the economy and inflation is caused. Works out well for the bankers.

The industries at the top of the food chain like health and ISP raise their rates and industries below them in the chain raise their rates because the cost of business went up and they want to make at least the same amount of profit. Henry Ford wrote a lot of good papers on subjects like this. As a worker in a 'employers market' products increase in price but your wages stay the same. This is where socialism would offer protection.
"Nothing is worth anything unless somebody wants it bad enough." Or " Nothing is worth anything unless you need it to live". Modernization causes people to become reliant on thing like the internet. Have you ever tried to get along without the internet? It's a big hurdle.

We pay AUD about $1.34 a litre. Which is about 0.264 gallons.

I live in NYS and the price is the same. Where you live the price is an anomaly. Almost any deflation occurrence is not real deflation. There are different types of inflation and deflation. With real inflation the product stays the same but your money is worth less than it was before. Banks not only control how much in units you have of money but also what the units specific value is.

Let me offer another example. Has anyone noticed that food is sold in smaller and smaller packages? A product is labeled family size but it is really only enough for 2 people.
