I tried to find out what kind of ventilators they're trained on at the hospital and how much they cost, but they didn't want to talk about it. I think she thought I was being facetious.

Just pick a model or two and look up the operator's manual on their web site or search for it as something like "Ventilator XXX operation manual" or "operator's manual" or "Operation Guide" or "quick reference card". Most of them have manuals online.

 

I actually emailed the hospital I think I'd be taken to... They probably are busy and won't get back to me right away. But I think they would be the ones operating the thing.
