Take care Meliai. It is certainly scary as the number ramps up. A lot of the number of positive cases are an artifact of testing intensity. Here in Western Washington we are farther along than most parts of the US and have had a lot of testing. Our numbers are increasing faster than most other states but the rate seem to be slowing a bit. My wife and I live in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area but so far our county is holding at 6 cases out of a population of 300,000+. We have not been anywhere except quick grocery store trips, with precautions since March 2.

 

Is eating sushi ever safe? I grew up in a lake area in WI and cleaned a lot of fish....and saw a full range of parasites. Since I always think a dose of cooking is prudent.
