i wouldn't have to think about the first thing i'd want to do. as long as land has to be bought and owned to play with building anything perminent on it, 200 densely wooded acres on a mountain somewhere is the furst thing i would buy with it. some place where there wouldn't be building codes telling me i couldn't build and live in micro-housing. and a way to get there and back i could also camp and haul stuff in. a fleet of three identical, so i could always keep one going. and then you know, the basic thing is set up that little community like i already said. like that composer guy who started ananda. i would probably spend most of the rest of it championing the cause of public transportation and moving transportation policy away from favoring the automobile. creating a demonstration of the alternative that would be affordable under even low density condtions would be pretty much the point of the exercize. building the solar powered narrow gauge trams, and raising red pandas, planting timber bamboo to make them feel at home, and so on, all of that. but its all part of the same idea, that would make me very happy to be part of. building really strange little houses and surrounding them by gardens, just nice little things like that, not intending to confront anyone politically, though i'm sure there are those who would choose to feel confronted by my doing so. because some people, often those seeking power, are just the kind of idiots who would be.
