Then what are you asking MR no shit with an annoying long name?.. and I quote Oxycodone.. The other is hydrocodone aka VICs.. there are no drugs marketed by these names ROXYS.. Roxicodone blue Generic Name: Oxycodone (ox-ee-KOE-dohn)
sigh... it says what i am asking twice (and instead of MR annoying long name how bout just dren?). i'm asking if roxy/oxy (since roxy's are just generic oxys) are the same narcotic as percs or vics. yes they are opioids, but i think that chemically roxys and oxys are a different compound (than percs or vics), not just the same opioid with less (or no) tylenol.
that would be like saying that xanax and ativan are the same drug because theyre both benzos... yeah i dont think so.
Percocet (brand) is oxycodone/apap (generic), vicoden (brand) is hydrocodone/apap (generic), roxicodone (brand) is oxycodone (generic) by itself. Hope that helps you out.
thanks scott that does answer my question quite well! so percs ARE the same drug as oxy cut with APAP and in smaller doses. so that would mean perc 10's (the little orange guys without the APAP, or lowered amounts) are basically the exact same as 10mg of oxy, and vicodin is a different chemical compound than the others.
