11-Year Old Snitches On Parents For Marijuana

The amount of people in here questioning if they could ever take their 11 YEAR OLD back after something like this is pretty pathetic.

once your 11 your old enough to understand what you do! that kid is in 5th grade. When I was in 5th grade there already were kids drinking and smoking pot that were in my class. Kids start having sex in 5th grade. 5th grade and 6th grade is the age kids start doing that stuff.

That kid had to know that his parents were going to get in trouble. So either he must not like his parents or must have been mad. I seriously doubt he was worried for his parents because if he was worried he would of just brought it up with them and talked about it.

Turning against family members is bad!

This is the same as douche bag kids that report their parents to the police for getting spanked with the belt a couple of times. like 15 years ago spanking was perfectly fine now it's considered child abuse. reporting your parents to the authorities is betrayal. if you do that, fine you don't need your parents, you can go live in a group home or something.

 

I suppose it's easy to do when you don't have an eleven year old.

 

cus that little crap reported his parents. he's in 5th grade. He's not a toddler. In 5th grade most people are very intelligent. You learn pre-algebra in 5th grade. If he was 7 or 8 yeah it would be fine. but he's 11. trust me he's not some innocent kid. depending on your genes some kids get pubic hair and hairy legs and sometimes even beards in 5th grade.

It's not about weed. it's that , that kid betrayed his parents. I mean come on. He knew exactly what he was doing.

 

That's your personal experience, not his. I didn't even know what pot was when I was eleven. That's my experience, not yours.

I don't really care what your school was like, the average person does not first have sex in the 5th fucking grade.

I seem to remember being 11, I have just raised two kids not that far past 11. If I had of been challenged or called into a situation like this with authority figures that were not parental, I would of been terrified and confused. I can also guarantee that my two kids would of been also.

At age 11 I was in 5th grade in elementary school. I basically thought marijuana was some drug that ghetto people smoke or bad kids. I knew at age 11 that drugs are illegal and you go to jail if you use or have them. Actually I knew drugs were illegal when I was age 8 and that illegal things mean you go to jail.

At my school there were kids who smoked weed but they were usually the loser/bad bully kids.

so when you tell me to think a minute he's only 11? well you know I was 11 too and I remember being 11.

that kid brought the joints to the officers. I mean if he wrote in a notebook or something yeah he got taken advantage of by the feds. but he straight up brought the joints. That is betraying your family.

He had to know that his parents would get busted. I mean in D.A.R.E they tell you that it is illegal and you get in trouble and go to jail for it. I remember in D.A.R.E they have animations and comics of weed and drug users going to jail and being arrested.

so screw that kid. he can go live in a group home.


though D.A.R.E did succefully make me think weed would affect me like LSD till I finally smoked and got high at age 14. I remember before getting high my first time thinking I am about to trip out and the world is about to melt n stuff haha. Then once I got high I was like ohhhhhhhhhhhh this is what it is like.

The good thing about being your age is that you have a lifetime ahead of you to develop some compassion.

 

DARE never told me that you get in trouble for it. Just that it is dangerous and bad for you.

 

Well in southern California it's very common. There plenty of pregnant girls in middle schools around here. I lived here all my life in southern california. oh and have brothers and sisters too. sooo some of them are still in school.

trust me you'd be surprised by how perverted 11-13 yearolds are.

trust I know like 5 cases just in my personal friend group of kid having sex at these ages when I was growing up haha.

so around here it's pretty average.

I mean I could write a shit ton of stories if you really want. I am being dead honest and I am not exxagerating.

I know 7th graders atm that smoke like 5 grams a day. hell yeah they are spoiled and get lots of allowance or they steal lots of shit I don't know but they smoke that much.

trust me right know there is like 3 pregnant 12 yearolds at the school closest to my house.

 

yeah it's a bit harsh and yeah I am young and I don't know what it's like to have my own child. but the way I was raised is I was always taught screw outside forces. I was taught you never get outsiders involved with family. That were family and that were connected and that we trust each other and respect each other and will always defend and help each other. I was taught you never turn against or betray your family no matter what. I was taught that outside forces will tear a family apart and take away our rights.

I was taught that family matters are family matters. you don't talk about family matters outside the house.

So basically what this kid did is horrible.

What I am saying basically is if I taught my kid all the stuff I was taught and he betrayed me like that then screw him. He can cuss at me, yell at , break house hold items, do whatever, but if he betrays me to the government then that's the one thing that you don't do. That's the biggest NO NO!

It's fine if you were taught a certain way, but that way isn't a measuring stick by which you hold up other people and other things to see how valid their experience is or measure how right they are.

Don't get me wrong, you're completely entitled to your opinion, I just don't think it's necessary to say something like;

when the kid was most likely set up and influenced by some bastard teachers or whoever.

 

well in your case maybe. but I still own my 5th grade planner and it talked about how you get in trouble and how it's illegal.


anyway I actually quit smoking weed. So I am not going to be a smoker when I have a family anyway.

but yeah I'd forgive the kid if he really was sorry for what he did. I would be pissed but yeah you gotta forgive people for stuff. usually I am very forgiving and compassionate person but that is one of the biggest things I am against.


but yeah your right even though he is smart enough to know what he did he is still a child. and a child is innocent. and he needs love and support and kindness. and this even could have him in a very bad mind state. so true he does need a parent to be his helper and not give him the wrath.

true we gotta spread love and not anger and hate.

the initial spark in your mind is anger but then again you gotta realize that this world has to much of that and really it solves nothing.

love and kindness and being a good example though improves everything.


so yeah you know what. ok whatever kid got you in trouble move on show kindness and love and forget about it.


EDIT: being mad and angry is easier.

but being kind and loving takes some patience and practice. but it's worth it

 

So let me get this straight.
Your parents were so adamant about teaching you family above all else, but the moment an 11 year old does something probably out of concern for his parents you abandon him. So much for family, right?
