    I don't know what AA 11 is.

I know the passengers on the plane where they DID realize what was happening on 9/11, did kick some ass, after they heard about the other planes. The other passengers had thought it was just a hijacking, they didn't know it was a suicidal terrorist hijacking.

    AA 11 = American Airlines flight 11.

Oh, come on RooRshack. You can do better than that weak excuse you just gave us. Does it really matter if it was "just" a hijacking? If I was on AA 11 there is no doubt I would've kicked ass. Wouldn't matter in the least bit to me if it was suicidal hijacking or .. hijacking. Whatever, I just think that if somebody really wanted to use the stolen planes, why not steal a pilot too? What I do know is .. we're all going to sit back and watch what happens, whatever that will be!

I still don't know anything about that flight....

If you believe that the hijackers just want to go to cuba or whatever, it would make absolutely NO sense to try to stop them - that's a good way to die, and maybe kill everybody on board - why not just let them go to cuba? If you believe they're going to kill everybody on board AND people on the ground, then that flips everything around, and it makes a lot more sense to try to stop them, even if it kills you.

I mean, you know traditionally, hijacking was just what you did when shit hit the fan and you had to get somewhere.... not a method of mass murder-suicide.

Yeah but would you just sit here if somebody hijacked your car? No, you'd do something.

Yes of course it makes sense to stop the plane stealing, the murderous plots, the madness ..

    Car analogy is not fair.

If you stop a car, it doesn't fall out of the air.

Yeah, if I was on a plane and the weather underground demanded we head for cuba, I'd say havana, here we come.

When people are using your life as a barganing chip.... being totally belligerant and shutting down does NOT make the most sense, necessarially. It depends what the possible outcomes are, and how your behavior will effect the one that happens. In some situations, you should run the thing right into the ground - and in some, you should listen to them, and live happily ever after.

You're right. But people are unbelievably stupid sometimes.

I just remembered this pilot with Ethiopian Airlines. He hijacked his OWN plane to go to Geneva to seek political Asylum. His flight was scheduled to ROME. He could have just landed the damn thing and taken the train. Or walked into an embassy.

Turns out there never were any missing planes. Aside from the airport and a few planes getting destroyed, the story about 11 stolen planes was just bullshit.
