    At the movies - several times in different cities. Best comment I heard: "He's rather tall for a hobbit" at a Lord of the Rings triple feature (and I wasn't in hobbit costume).

    Hey Boogabaah, good idea here, but I wish you and others would be more specific, like the actual name and location of the place. That would be a lot more helpful to other barefooters, seems to me. Just saying something like "coffee shop" or "library" doesn't tell us much.

    it takes up to much time to post all these seperately, but i went on a road trip across europe last year and wore shoes only once
    my barefeet have touched the ground of the following countries:
    (am quite proud of this, cos its not common amongst the local people of my area)


    france
    belgium
    luxembourg
    germany
    switzerland
    italy
    monaco
    san marino
    scotland (home country)
    england
    wales
    austria

    and as for specific places
    in france i remember the places cos we stopped there to spend nights, so:#
    Nice
    antibes
    paris
    lyon
    marseilles

    and in italy also:
    ventimiglia (spelling?)
    venice
    lido di estenzi
    lido di something else (can't remember)
    and florence
