Today had two. Went into and ate in a Dairy Queen that had a "no shirt, no shoes, no service" sign on the door. I had no shoes, but I got service anyway. Then went to a high school football game. Walked around the school for a while beforehand as some of the halls were open. To this day my favorite sensation on my bare soles is the tile flooring that is common in school hallways and classrooms.
Office Depot. Actually, a couple of the employees on duty gave me some "disapproving" looks, but didn't say anything. I just ignored them and bought something I needed. If they were going to give me a hard time, I would have told them I'll take my business to their competitor (Staples). :auto:
the alley to throw out my garbage. gravel hurt my poor feetsies. lol i must change that and get me some calluses...
A 1 mile walk today down a nature trail that was mostly gravel. Some goat-head stickers, but I am at the point where they don't hurt. I just pick them out once I notice them. My back actually had a much harder time with the hike than my soles did. Oh, and not too long ago, the DFW Airport. I went in and waited for about half an hour for a friend's plane to arrive since I was the ride home. First time I have ever been in an airport barefoot, but it was no problem at all. Even had a security guard walk by but he never said anything.
today was decades day at my school. a lot of people dressed like hippies. one girl came to school barefoot (wish i had had the guts to be that girl). i didnt hear whether or not she got sent home.
Meh, IMHO airports ought to allow people to go barefoot, and airlines should let people on the plane barefoot, too. That makes going through the security line easier, and less screening necessary to ensure that planes are free of shoe bombs! Here's my place: College/university is a great place to go barefoot
i used to take my shoes off at school all the time. it was actually requested by other classmates. they loved the sound of my little feet slapping on the tile floors. the eye doctor! he noticed i was barefoot but didn't say anything.
me too! i also love how its so hot and when i get to my class i take off my flips (im too self conscious to go barefoot just yet- and not sure about whether or not id get in trouble. also my feet arent tough enough yet to brave gravel) and feel the cold linoleum on my soles. ahhhh
my cousins then i walked across town to another house with people i didnt know but i sat there and drank with my cousins
Naping in the grass on a beautiful summer day Picking carrots out of the garden (for bunny!) and getting eaten alive during the process lol!! Going to the local thrift store, wawa (I had to be sneaky, walking around town, dancing outside during a rainstorm, Drumcircles!!
