that super hot parking lot in town (for some odd reason this one parking lot gets hotter than any other i've ever walked on, i can't figure out why.)
greenhouses. the ones where we go shopping are really large and have gravel and mud paths. inside the large shed nurseries the rubber carpets are often covered with mud. don't know if it's really healthy because of all those poisons and chemicals they use.
pisces massage tables and products... hehe. they're kinda uptight there, so i wore my flowey pants that kinda almost hide my feet.
My local Chick Fil-A restaurant has a play area for the young kids. I noticed that almost all the kids who come into the restaurant with their parents and take advantage of the indoor play area usually are barefoot. I have yet to see any barefoot adults in there, so I was thinking of "testing the waters" at that particular Chick Fil-A to see if any of the employees notice. If they give me a hard time, I'll point to all the barefoot kids running around plus the fact they don't have any signs specifically stating that shoes must be worn. Has anyone here ever gone to a Chick Fil-A barefoot and gotten away with it?
Trader Joe's is barefoot friendly? I like doing much of my grocery shopping there (I live near three TJ's). I haven't tried going into any of them barefoot--usually I'm wearing flip-flops just in case the "shoe police" are patrolling. But, it has crossed my mind MANY times.
The bank, which is a U.S. Bank branch inside a Vons supermarket. The tellers can't even see my feet from where they are, and the shoppers inside the store usually don't even notice. Hmm....that actually makes it TWO places in this post, which violated the original poster's request of one place per post. Sorry!
I've never had a problem at TJ's. Most of the staff are pretty cool, lots of college-age kids and alternative types.
That's good to know! The college-age kids and alternative types found in most TJ's stores are why I feel so at home there. Sometime this week, I'm sure I'll find an excuse to buy something at TJ's--barefoot this time.
