yeah, that's kinda what I do, but I make it up as I go along. I've always done brims using 2 yarns together. I guess that saves making 2....

my hair is naturally dry, so my dreads are even worse. I use conditioner all the time. Works a treat!

yeah, that sounds pretty normal to me, that some are comming undone. Just stick to it! Just takes time and patience.
