  1. Hi everybody,
Today I have to get some X-rays and yes I’m barefoot . Boy do I get a lot of looks when I walk through the door. And the people that register you for X-rays ask me if I have shoes or if I need help I told them that I’m a barefooter and I don’t wear shoes. I ask them do I have to wear shoes they said but as the temperature gets colder maybe I should wear flip flops. I said I will think about it . So far so good and my bare feet are a little white from the salt that is on the blacktop. And even the tech was surprised that I’m barefoot she was asking all kinds of questions and I would answer she was really in to the barefoot style but never thought about going full time barefoot but now she is thinking about it after talking to me about going barefoot. I hope everybody has a great barefoot day
  2. Hi everybody,
I love walking barefoot in the fall but I wish people would just ask me if I’m ok instead of calling the police. That happened on Friday I was fishing and yes it was a little cold the temperature was 36 degrees and yes I was barefoot and I was catching fish. I had a couple ask me how was fishing I told them it was great . And then they notice that I was barefoot and they ask me if I need help I said no that I’m always barefoot all year around and that’s when another person stopped and was listening to us talk and he notice that I was barefoot and he walked away and went to his car and sat there for a while. The next thing I know I saw a police car pull up and two police officers got out of the car and made a straight line right to me the couple and I was talking and one of the officers ask if he could talk to me I said ok so he started asking questions like do I need help and why am l barefoot and asked for my ID so I gave that to him why the other officer talk to the couple and then they left. Then that officer was on his phone and as the other was talking to me I notice that my fishing pole was bouncing so I pulled back and hook the fish so as I was bringing it in the officer wanted me to drop my pole on the ground I said no I’m not going to lose my fishing pole so he said drop it I said let me bring the fish in and I will drop the pole he said ok then I notice that a fish and game officer pulled in . The two started talking to each other and they were walking towards me and the other officer. I notice that the fish and game officer I know him . And as he came up to me and said hi barefoot rick I said hi back . The two police officers asked him do you know this guy he said he and he is always barefoot he ever wears shoes. The two police officers said wow ok the fish and game officer said that if it’s to cold for his bare feet he just stays home or he puts on his strapless sandals. So after talking to the fish and game officer the two police officers said sorry for taking so long someone reported that a person was barefoot and might need some help the next thing I know one of the police officers went to a car in the parking lot where that guy was at and they talked to him for a few minutes and then the police officers got in their car and left then the guy left . And as I brand in my last fish that fish and game officer said to me wow that’s the first time I had the city police call me out to see if this person is legal to fish and if he know this person. I said I’m glad it was you and you know that I never wear shoes. I know the fish and game officer for two year and we have fish together. Then today I had to rake up some leaves that came off from my neighbor trees I don’t mind I like raking leaves in my bare feet I love the feel of the leaves crunching under my bare feet . And when the neighbors drive or walk by they look at me and shake their heads or they stop and ask me are your feet cold I tell them on and I tell them you will see me use my snowblower and yes I will be barefoot. They always say that I must have tough feet I tell them my bare feet are a little tough . Will everybody keep barefooting
  3. Hi everybody,
Today has been nice and cool I love the cool weather great to go walking around barefoot or even hiking barefoot. I do get a lot of people asking me why I’m barefoot and I tell them that I don’t like to wear socks and shoes. And my feet feel great I have no foot problems. And being barefoot has great health benefits. I was walking today on a trail and a few people were just like no shoes I said no they were so amazed that they started asking me questions about going barefoot. So I told them I have been going barefoot for over 29 years and I’m barefoot all year around. They asked me even in the winter I said yes I even remove snow barefoot. They said wow you must have tough feet I told them I go camping, fishing and hunting barefoot. They ask do you ever wear shoes I said no I go to the doctor barefoot and everywhere barefoot fast food places and some restaurants. And I always drive barefoot and they were like wow you really like being barefoot I said no I love my barefoot lifestyle and I do save a lot of money from not buying shoes and socks and they laughed and I did too . And as we were walking one of the ladies said watch out there was some broken glass and I walked right in to it and they asked me if my feet are ok I said yes they asked to look at me feet so I showed them and they said wow not one cut on your bare feet or your toes I said no my feet are really tough they said yes they are. So when we go back to the parking lot I said goodbye and they said the same thing back . And I came home a great day for walking barefoot.

  4. Hi everybody ,
It’s great that the weather is cooling off and I have notice that more people are walking around barefoot. I know for some this summer was to hot for them to walk around barefoot. But the heat didn’t bug my bare feet at all and now that it is getting cooler it feels great I can’t wait to walk barefoot in the snow. I just hope I don’t break my toe rings like I did this summer hiking in the mountains. I didn’t even notice that my toe rings broke I was hiking in some muddy places and that day it rained so I had to get in some trees so I wouldn’t get to soaked from the rain. After the rain stopped I started hiking and I ran in to two other hikers and they were soaked and they asked where were my shoes are I told them that I hike barefoot all the time. And the guy said you must have really tough bare feet I said I have been going barefoot for over 29 years I ever wear shoes or socks. His wife was really impressed that a guy goes barefoot that much. We talked on the way down the mountain and then they stopped and I asked if everything is ok they said yes . I notice that both of them were taking off their shoes and socks. I told them that we need to take it easy going down the trail . There feet looked like Dried up raisins so we took our time and we talked about places where I have gone barefoot and even places they have gone barefoot. They want to be barefoot all the time but their jobs will not let them. So after we got to where our trucks were at they went there way I went my way and when I got home I turned on the hose and rinsed off my muddy bare feet and that’s when I notice that my toe rings where broken all three of them the mud was holding them together. So I ordered three more I hope I don’t break them when I remove snow if it snows here where I live . Will everybody keep barefooting
  5. Hi everybody,
Today I had to go to Walmart and get a few things and as I was walking out to the parking lot I stepped on a cigarette that somebody threw on the ground . I should have watched where I was going but I didn’t. I stepped on it with the heel of my barefoot it was like stepping on a bee and when I stopped and looked down I noticed that it was a cigarette it left a little burn mark but that was it . That has never happened to me I wish people would just put their cigarette where they belong and not on the ground .
