"What a piece of work is a man! How noble in reason! how infinite in faculty! in form and moving how express and admirable! in action how like an angel! in apprehension how like a god! the beauty of the world! the paragon of animals!" from SHAKESPEARE, Hamlet.

So true. Especially the last line.

So who is like man? Evolution, they say. But then there'd be some other animal species half as intelligent as us, and then ¼ and so forth.

Yes, I am aware of Neanderthals and Homo Erectus. But what I said above still applies. That is why I subscribe to the Zoo Hypothesis: Zoo hypothesis - Wikipedia

    Thoughts:) ?

On the TV show Star Trek they called it the non interface rule . I guess it's possible. Some think the aliens have been here for some time. Travis Walton saw the human clones when he was abducted.

Aliens don't come to Earth because there is a lack of intelligent life on this planet.

I'd still like to know how Travis Walton managed to pass every polygraph or lie detector test he's been asked to take over the years including some as recent as 5-6 years ago.

On Travis Walton, I remember the story from when it happened. A very big story here in AZ at the time. He, and all but 1 of his loging crew passed numerous lie dect.s One guy may of been concerned over drug possession. This event is certainly worth a thread of its own. I have found his description of the human/alien clones he saw on the space craft quite interesting. If real ,they may have no idea of who and what they are. I remember his first radio interview in 1975 quite well.

    Answer this question ........
Of all the shapes possible, why are "alien crafts" depicted as flying saucers??? All the "actual pictures" we've seen in past years look like flying saucers, frisbees, trash can lids, etc. Could it be because in the movie "War of the Worlds", the aliens arrived in "flying saucers" - so we just stuck with that premise???

    Seems just a tad odd.

They were first popularized as flying saucers in 1947 by the media after Kenneth Arnold reported seeing nine UFOs near Mount Rainier, Washington. He was quoted as saying they were shaped like a saucer, disc, or pie-plate.

Flying saucers. Why can't we be invaded by aliens flying warehouses full of food?? Tapsters filled with beer? :)

The air flow over & around some mountains is known to produce "lenticular clouds" which look exactly like "flying saucers", discs, etc. Just a possibility.

With what we NOW know about outer space, via the Hubble telescope, numerous far-reaching spacecraft, and satellites - space seems to be a boiling cauldron of HIGH radioactivity. Crushing gravity in some places. Insane levels of cold ...... and heat. From all we know and understand of physics, it seems impossible for any life form - similar in any way close to humans - to exist.

Well, we are in the same environment and we exist.

True enough. Just going by what we humans - from our perspective - know. So far. :)
