love all zombie movies ever since i saw night of the living dead when i was 9...watched one the other day where a new inmate at a prison was infected and then the whole prison turns and only a few normies left trying to escape, was badass; and i frequently have dreams where im fighting zombies with a group of people and it always different impossible situations...fun dreams though

I'm picky about them, but no doubt, I love some zombies.
    Romero is the king.
    HATE Fulci.
Dead Alive gets extra points for being so damn bloody.
Not really a fan of the fast zombies. I don't mind in the first Return Of The Living Dead, it was more comedy than horror, to me, and everything else about the film was bad ass enough to make up for it.

I dunno, he was just a complete hack at horror movies.
I love Four Of The Apocalypse, and Contraband wasn't bad, but his horror films were just total duds to me. I love bad movies, I love gore, but Fulci went beyond bad into a whole other category of rubbish.

Max Brooks also wrote a novel called World War Z - a commentary on Zombie wars in the near future. It is quite good.

My favorite Zombie movie is Dellamorte, Dellamore. I think it is the one that was released in the US as Cemetery Man.

After Romero's Dawn, Dellamorte Dellamore is my favorite zombie film.
As far as not just zombie films, but all time films in general, Dellamorte Dellamore is my third favorite film of all time. It was just so beautiful.

speed only adds to the menacing nature of a cannibal, but there is something creepy as hell about a zombie that walks slowly when he's in pursuit of you. it seems unnatural.

Haha, yeah. I would get my bike, my oversized army rucksack, my 12 gauge shotgun, head to Walmart(Super Center) and kill all employee's, secure the grounds and lock myself in till I can figure out a way out of Michigan and to a deserted island. Why a Walmart? Food, cloathing, medical suplies, amo, more guns... basacly anything and everything you would need to survive. My friends all look at me like I'm insane when I describe my plans for a zombie holocuast.

This is an exerpt from "The Zombie Survival Guide", these are the symptoms of a zombie bite.
Hour 1: Pain and discoloration (brown-purple) of the infected area. Immediate clotting of the wound
(provided the infection came from a wound).
Hour 5: Fever (99-103° F), chills, slight dementia, vomiting, acute pains in the joints.
Hour 8: Numbing of extremities and infected area, increased fever (103-106° F), increased dementia,
    loss of muscular coordination.
Hour 11: Paralysis in the lower body, overall numbness, slowed heart rate.
    Hour 16: Coma
Hour 20: Heart stops. Zero brain activity.
    Hour 23: Reanimation.

wait, that movie was gorey as hell and fucked up at parts.

yes, the first half was light hearted, but after that..not so much!

The orginal Dawn of the dead in 1978, with its music, was damn funny.

Dawn of the Dead (original) is the best of them all.
    Just something about Romero's zombies.

Resident Evil 1 & 2 are good as well.

Zombie Flesh Eaters is quite gory, especially the bit were the girl gets her eye poked out by the splinter of wood!
