A man in Ohio, Jasen Dixon, has a Zombie Nativity Scene in his front yard. The city is charging him $500 a day "because he didn't get a building permit". Churches are writing letters to him, etc. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2015/12/08/ohio-man-fined-for-zombie-nativity-scene/
Oops, yeah, it only said ohio 10 times, haha. Brain fart. My state borders both ohio and Indiana. I'm just used to putting down Indiana and typed it out. Edit: I'm used to putting down Indiana for religious bigotry (among other types of bigotry).
I read a story like this last year. Maybe it might be the same person, I dunno. Also, it's ridiculous that he's being charged for putting something on HIS property that he rightfully owns. If the Christians don't like it, tough luck. He's got every right to put that up.
If it was a regular nativity scene he wouldn't be getting fined. Way to go "separation of church and state".... Oh yeah, It's Ohio. They make up the rules as they go here.
Ive always wondered, and this seems an appropriate thread to ask Do you think zombies eat every part? You know EVERY part
Only if a main character needs to die in an extra horrific way and the zombies like pull his head apart. Yeahh. That'll bring em back next week. Cool manger though. I mean its not like the people who take this personally are basically praying for an undead beatnik to come back and 'rescue' them. I'd be willing to bet money that IF Jesus existed like they think he did, he wouldn't be half as mad at this as they want to believe. A minor but important step towards people not taking this religion stuff too seriously. Edit: I also would bet that most of the people who come up to this manger or are taking pictures are supportive. Its just that Christians know how to make a lot of noise.
