whats wrong with eating rats? people used to eat rats all the time. just another animal. i'd try rat. hell, i've eaten rabbits, and they're (delicious) rodents. and people eat guinea pigs and squirrels. actually, i've been meaning to try squirrel for a while now. judge not :cheers2:

today it was just above freezing, but with teh sun everything was melting... some of the roads in quieter residential areas were swamped enough that they werent draining right and, well, werent relaly driveable
fun stuff
now were going to have a few days just below zero, so itll freeze horribly overnight, melt slightly from teh sun during teh day, and freeze again all to become extraspecially slippery. hurrah!

man, we've got so much snow out there today. i kept kai outta school. we're having a snow day. she stayed the night at her friend's house.

 

one of the biggest i've seen up here was in april. yup. april.

 

Probably. It's super loud with the rain though. You have to yell at the person sitting across from you so they can hear. And it makes me sleep like I've taken a sleeping pill. That is the only good thing about it. My insomnia can't beat the lulling roar of rain hitting the roof.

Oh it is. I wanted to cry when my alarm went off this morning. I was sleeping so soundly that it hurt to wake up. haha

 

my daughter let me sleep in today. it was great! i have loads to do in a bit, but right now i'm drinking coffee.

 

I usually sleep in on rainy days...but I have to clean my gramp's house. (They got a new computer and I can't make myself go clean a toilet. The other one used to take forever to load a page that I could sweep and mop in between posts.)

 

haha. i know the feeling. dsl is the worst thing to happen to me.

 

They've always had fast internet access....the computer was just so damn old that the screen took forever to load.

 

oh. i used to have a slow computer. i'm on my third laptop now.

 

far enough north and march is the very end of winter and very close to the beginning of spring, when precipitation is getting heavy and frequent, but temperatures can fluctuate enough so that sometimes instead of a downpour your get a blizzard. its not that weird.

 

WHOO! No work and I already got out and got stocked up on Dr. Pepper. It's not even that bad out there, lol. But roomie tried to drive us to the gas station and we didn't even get past the yard, so Daniel gave it a shot. He's lived in this house almost his whole life, so he knows how to get out in the snow. I've seen it way worse, though, and it's definitely not the blizzard everyone was freaking out over. But yeah, Dairy Queen is closing at 1 today because of the weather, so I didn't even have to go in. Sweet.

our roads are totally cleared. i thought i was going to take kai in for her OM meeting and rehearsal, but i guess it was cancelled.
