Hi guys, I am interested in living within a yurt community in the UK. If anyone knows of such communities in the North of England I would be grateful for any info.... Thanks
I don't think they have any Yurts in the UK, course how the hell do I know.. These darn Brits might like those things Peace
Mostly, they seem to be used for camping holidays, rather than actual communities. Think there is one such holiday yurt-camp in the Lake District, but for proper bona-fide communities...dont recall hearing of any. On the other hand, everything has to start somewhere... here's a chance to blaze a trail and start one.
I don't know of any in North England, but there is Tipi Valley in Wales, I bet there are some yurts down there? Try searching here; http://www.diggersanddreamers.org.uk
