I dunno...maybe Mars Volta or APC...or VAST...or Divinity Destroyed...or Beatles... Yeah, I cheated...I listed like 10 bands...haha. It's so hard to choose! All I know is that #1 and #2 are for sure.

well, the whole "riot on an empty street" album is great, really. err individual songs: "homesick" is beautiful. definately one of my faves I'd rather dance with you know how sorry or please the build up toxic girl you should definately check out those
1. The Grateful Dead 2. Phish 3. Jimi Hendrix 4. Jefferson Airplane 5. The Doors Your typical hippie music list
Did you read "in no perticular order" Not only that, but I've ran into Keller in a guitar shop and he lives just north of me... A lot about him inspires me. He was the reason I started playing Guild 12 strings. Steve Howe is one of many that I like, but he's just never really been that inspiring to me. He always was and will always be an amazing guitarist, I can't lie and say that he was one of the first people to influence my playing, as you haven't heard anything I've done. Chet Atkins has always been one of my main inspirations (as far as playing acoustic, six string) as far as 10/12 string goes, it's Keller and Leo Kottke, only, I couldn't remember Leo's name at the time.
Well since everyones Top 5 is really the same ill name some bands that's something different than led zeppelin and such. 1. Elliot Smith 2. Leftover Crack 3. Sublime 4. Radio Head 5. Ten Years After
My "top five" snapshot as of right now (none of this "of all time" silliness): Univers Zero Pink Floyd (pre-Wall, please) Escapade Bardo Pond Henry Cow
no paticular order here. 1) Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band 2) Godspeed You! Black Emperor 3) Matthew Good 4) Pink Floyd 5) Opeth.. or Radiohead
Vulva Queen, that's cool that you're into Opeth too... I've heard about Godspeed You! Black Emperor...can you describe 'em? I've been interested in hearing their stuff.
