    Mostly utter nonsense, completely out of the "Ancient Aliens" playbook, until the end where the presenter says some sensible things that have a sense of proportion. If the theories proposed earlier in the video were true and happened on a regular basis there would be clear evidence globally in the geological record - repeated event horizons littered with collected debris, just like the event horizon when the dinosaurs were wiped out. There is not so let us stay rational here.

    One false assumption throws that whole theory in the bin. He thinks that a magnetic pole shift would alter the physical north pole. Not likely. The magnetic poles ARE moving faster these days, but are you noticing any continental drift at all? Well they haven't swapped positions yet, so we can't say if that would be significantly different. But I believe they may have already recorded nearly as much as a 10 degree shift in modern times.

    So it's a huge leap to assume that it would result in a series of cataclysms.
