Your recipes using eggs

Ingredients:

8 slices of bread roughly ripped into small pieces and placed in a large bowl. Add:
1/2 Pt fresh orange juice
2 large eggs
8 Oz dried mixed fruit
4 0z Dark Muscavado Sugar
Cinnamon
All Spice
Mixed Spice

Method;

stir all ingredients together until they form a floppy mix. Empty into a shalllow oven tray and spread out until the mix covers the whole tray. Bake at 180 o C for approx 45 - 60 mins. It is cooked when you can stick a knife into the ingredients and it comes out clean.

Remove from oven and allow to cool for approx 10 - 15 mins. Sprinkle 1 dessert spoon of Caster Sugar over it all. - Voila !!! - Bread Pudding !!!

 

A version of this exists in Naples too, it's called "eggs in Purgatory"

 

Century Eggs ! They look pretty disgusting, but are deemed a delicacy in China.

Given that Covid - 19 also came from China, it is perhaps unwise to entertain this delicacy at the moment !!!

Black pudding is Gorgeous matey, either with a fry-up breakfast, or I use it in my stew to thicken the gravy - its fabulous !!!

The poor mans crepe or French toast. Lol. I am allergic o eggs, but anyways

scramble up eggs,
With some milk
A little vanilla extract or some cinnamon
Cover both sides of bread in batter
Put butter in a pan and fry the bread, browning both sides,

Maple syrup, preferably Canadian made
Or
Ketchup

other options
Mayo
Fruit on top
Butter
A sprinkling of powdered sugar

 

At this moment, later, and beyond the end of of the world if you ask me. Ammonia and sulphur flavoured black eggs looking like something out of Satan's breakfast table, no thanks LOL .
