My parents are Rhodesians. You can wikipedia it/figure it out from there.... Needless to say they weren't bumming around being hippies...far from it I think long haired blokes actually got lynched in rhodesia
my parents listened to the beatles a lot... they were together for like 3 years and then suddenly got married (my mom was 20) and went to africa for 5 years. then got back... my brother was born... then me... and then we all went to zimbabwe and had a great time with monkeys and elephants.

my dad was a long hair going to the same college i am, living in the northern part of town, and .. majoring in art/photography/something like that. my mom was.. married to her first husband, raising my two brothers. she moved a lot, so i have no idea where she lived. they both partied it up

My dad was at 16 the sporty guy . He was a quarterback in J.H Leclerc Highschool football team , he aced physics, maths and chemistry but he nearly failed french, english and history ... He was in almost every sports team his school had and he wanted to be an engineer or something And for his first job he cleaned stuff at the municipal pool and he liked Styx My mom was probably the studious girl in an all-girls school in a suburb of Québec City . I think she was kinda in love with her history teacher and she had good grades and listened to her parents ... And i know she read lotsa and lotsa poetry and she was into music like Jacques Brel, Charles Trenet and whatnot ...
My mom said the most daring thing she ever did in highschool was that she left her school during lunch in a vehicle. [they were allowed to leave during lunch, just not in a vehicle] My dad..I don't know. He worked a lot and was a wrestler and got good grades.
My mum was loner at my age who spent most of her time reading and my dad was a socialist hippie who listened to a lot of Neil Young and all his friends were constantly stoned
