Your Man Cave

yepp, I remember that video . Well, man caves have an intrinsic disadvantage: there are usually no women in it. Except that on the centrefolds .

Lived in Chicago as a kid - I've been a Bears fan since 1969

Went to U of Wisconsin and lived around lots of Notre Dame fans. Saw lots of Michigan FB, so eventually became a fan.

Red Sox fan because I hate the Yankees and got tired of the Cubs

Sabres fan because I live in Upstate NY and as I am only a recent Hockey fan I had no grudges or previous loyalties so for the 1st time as an adult I am rooting for the home team.

 

Do you have a suggestion for a better term?

 

In married households the wives usually decide on the household decor. The husbands usually cede this control out of a desire for concord and harmony. The 'Man Cave' is merely a recognition of this, which functions by allowing the man to have a space which he controls and is able to show a manifestation of himself visually.

 

it would a strange woman that woud go inta that room if they were'nt welcome in the rest of the place.

 

My thoughts on a mancave is a room that has things that I like. One of those things is women.

i was gonna say dumb enough to create this but on a more serious not i wouldnt say we have become dumb i would we havent changed our policies...Id see that as being comfort...Wars and stuff, now that to me isnt right or cool or smart..Killings? That shouldnt be happening, still though we are very early in our age as a speicies, i think we are expecting too much out of socieities these days....What do i know though LOL

What are we gonna become though is the question? Worse than our original ancestors and forefathers, which was war...Or can we become children of the unknown, masters of knowning the unknown, by this i mean no wars and stuff...I dont know dude, maybe iam being dull but yeah LOL

I’m in the same situation, so which room in the house do you prefer?

I like the den because I have a comfortable lounge chair, a desk, book cases, a fireplace, and most important my HDTV for watching sports or a DVD :2thumbsup:

I'm usually in my studio in the loft, or downstairs hanging out with Erin the crow... I don't have TV, watch movies or sports.
