I'm majoring in political science and minoring in history. I chose political science out of interest, I guess.

I studied creative writing in high school, and now I'm a Bio major. I plan on applying to vet school, I've always known I wanted to help animals...I love animals in a way many people find hard to see, I'll do a lot for them and I appreciate what they give back to us. I can't see myself doing anything else.

Dual major in international relations (with focus on global governance) and Latin American studies (with focus on Mexico as of now, may shift to just a more generalized revolutionary movements arena).

Dual minoring in practical anthropology and politics, probably.

And I can't explain why- it's just what I love.

Afterwards I hope to make it into a 1 year grad program at LSE for human rights and then maybe Georgetown or Cornell for a masters of public policy. From there we'll see about law school or pHD.

My major is behavioral neuroscience, with minors in chemistry and professional writing. Soon I'll start graduate studies towards my PH.D in medical neurobiology. I chose this major and graduate program because I want to work in neuropsychopharmaceutical research.

um, me and a friend were watching woodstock yesterday.
she had never seen it and i was trying to identify the bands to her.
and then later, we had munchies so we went to mellow mushroom to eat.
and she was like, you should major in rock history, she was like you seem to know A LOT about it, and she thinks i'd be one of those teachers that all the highschool teenagers would LOVE and be inspired by.
so, now it's got me thinking, maybe i could get an english major with a concentration in creative writing or professional writing [professional, if i decide that i want to write for the rolling stones magazine or make an underground music magazine that doesn't exploit the bands like RS does] and for my minor, if they have this offered where i'm currently attending college, a minor in music history with a concentration in rock history... what does everyone think about that?

but i'm also VERY creative and artistic, so maybe a double minor, one with the music/rock history thing and then, another minor in visual arts. or graphic arts, hmmm, decisions, decsions. man, i hate being wishy washy all the time.

i think visual or graphic arts sounds more realistic than rock history, personally.

yeah i think the arts is more realistic, too.
but it would be insanely awesome to minor in rock history, too.

i wish, but i know it won't be so...
    unless...

    maybe minoring in music history
with a concentration in rock history.

i mean, i'll have to study the whole nine yards of music.
but i will concentrate on the rock history part of it.
i mea, it is SUCH A BIG part of music history...
that it would be completely unfair to not include it, you know?

You can definitely do rock history. Some place might actually have it as an official thing, but basically if you major in musicology/music history, you can take whatever bent on it that you want. I knew folks who did rock, classical, renaissance, folk, ethnic musics, women in music.....

    civil and environmental engineering,
harder than straight up environmental sciences, but makes it easier to get a job with a large impact.
