A couple of months ago I picked up eric clapton unplugged. I haven't bothered to open it yet. I have more than 2000 albums I need to sell soon. I just couldn't resist. Clapton is a favourite and I especially like san francisco bay blues.
1992 Reprise Records for the U.S. and WEA International Inc.

Today i got "The Best of Mountain" - 1973

I saw it in the bin @ salvation army and it was dirty as anything (no jacket or sleeve)... I easily took some off so I knew it was LIGHT DIRT (Not scratched) so I bought and brought her home....

Cleaned it off with warm water and then Mr. Clean and she came 100% clean!

I didnt realise @ first that Mountain IS A HARD ROCK BAND and in the 70s they kicked!!! (I havent listenend to it yet but Im glad to have MORE GOOD 70s rock IN ANALOG :))

Today I got a Double Album

Tommy - The who (Original Decca pressing)

I also have Quadrophenia and its awesome as well!!!! (Also a double)

I think the NEWEST material I like from the who is thier 1981 album titled "Face Dances" which I have on cassette........

Some bands were good in the 80s but some were good earlier and THE WHO was insane from when they started thru the 70s!!

I have that one. Bought it when I was a teenager. There's a guitar piece that comes after the Captain Walker part.

    Captain Walker didn't come home,
His unborn child will never know him.
Believe him missing with a number of men,
Don't expect to see him again.

And that's when the guitar solo begins. I don't know why, but it gets me going every time.

I found another copy of BEST OF BEE GEES (1969) today @ my friends and I got it because the one I have has 1 or 2 skips @ the end of MASSACHUSETS on side 2.... It sucks.... There was a skip @ the beggining of WORDS also (side 1) but I got that out....... I cant get the ones in massachusets out.... (Well I havent been able to yet anyway)

The 1 I found today is a first pressing but it sounds like crap.. The first songs audio is horrible (Like listening to an AM station off frequency (In some spots (Like it was TOO LOUD))) and the song WORDS the music is quite low..... The re-issue I have is much better except for the skipping In massachusets.. Ah well, its an excellent set of music!! -- The 60s was quite a decade!!!!!!

I also got a greatest hits collection (2 record set) from Gordon Lightfoot (1975 release (Gords Gold)) -- Also A good singer!!!!!!!!
