    Fade to black
    Metallica

    A question of heaven
    Iced Earth

    Stairway to heaven
    Led Zeppelin

    Sear me III
    My Dying Bride

    Nämdemans-Ola
    Omnia

    Farewell
    Falkenbach

    Joining you
Alanis Morissette (because the lyrics are so me)

    The winner takes it all
    ABBA (my first crying song)

    Still-motion
Shape of Despair (no escaping this song anymore, permanent impact on my life!)

And then top it all off with Satyricon's warp-speed cover of Sarcofago's I.N.R.I. at a dazzling 251 bassdrum beats per minute and the unforgettable finishing line of "Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you Jesus Christ!", perfect to have that as the last bit of music I ever play. ^_^

It's got to be something positive, warm and intimate. It don't want people to leave my funeral totally devastated, don't want music that tell people "start crying on the cue" and make the grief worse. I would rather wish they'd look back on their memories of me with a smile on their lips if possible.

Don't know what song though, I hope I've got a long time to figure it out.

My wife went to the funeral of one of her co-workers some time back, and Jimmy Buffet was the only music played! He was a super fun-loving guy, and it was so appropriate. Everyone remembers him for the way he was.

I think I'd choose one of my own pieces, and probably some classical music.

those are some classy choices. I agree, I'd need some zeppelin, maybe the rain song, followed by something upbeat, so I can dance......gotta dance to the death, till you drop I spose

I have to go with my first instinct on this one. The entire album of Dark Side Of The Moon (Floyd). From heartbeat to heartbeat. until the last line is said "there is no dark side of the moon really... matter of fact it's all dark. The only thing that makes it look brighter is the sun."
