    VW Jetta 2009 Manual Silver

I bought it preowned about 2 and a half years ago. On a 5 year lease, I'm already about 1 year away from paying it off

I can't picture getting a new car for a very long time either

Such a shame. You should really buy a new car to keep the economy going.
Maybe you can get a loan for it?

I agree. If I owned a post 1988 Volkswagen I'd want to buy a new vehicle.

    Haha
Yes! Contribute to the economy by buying lots of materialistic items you can barely afford! Lots of poverty is created that way.

so did you buy it or lease it? buying means you own it after you're done paying...a lease is for a set period of time, then you return the car to the dealer.

That might depend on the deal, sometimes there is a payout price on it after the set time is done. We bought one that way before and it wasn't nearly as good as buying it but it was ours after. It was a blazer and we ended up selling it for a pretty good price but wouldn't do that again.

What I have now, Brabus smart car, grand caravan for my business, crossfire, gonna sell it, leisure travel motorhome, gonna sell it, and I sold my dune buggy.
I will be left with my smart car which is a blast to drive, it is my second one, and my caravan.
The leisure travel was hubbies and I have no need for it now cause I won't have the time to use it anymore for a while or I would keep it, it is nice.

Got my trail rig out today to take to my parents for easter being it was 80+/- out today. I was next to a 'smart car' today and they are plain stupid!
My bumper sits face level to the driver, There is no way anyone would live through it. I can drive over it as is and if you add speed, Well you might scratch my bumper lmao but you will be tag on the toe dead.

That's not considering all the big trucks out there either. They would plow a smart car out of the way like a moped and not miss a beat. For the person who drive the smart car, Did this ever run through you're mind? Put any thought into im in a garbage can on wheels with American iron around me? Its actually worse than being on a bike, You can at least lay it down and slide.

My first car was a 1957 Chevrolet

I bought it in 1966 while stationed at Fort Meade because we were really isolated on that sprawling base. I was 22.

It was a six-cylinder and whipped but it got me off base and around the local area.
