Not my first cars, but my top three favs, 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge in orange. Fuckin drool! 1955 Chevy Bel Air. Pure sexiness. 1988 Chevy Camaro IROC Z28. I drove my dad's once and it was sweet!
Fools and people with no spatial awareness are given licences to drive. They are all potential murderers and should be taken off the roads.I hate car adverts.I hate the design of modern cars.It can be taken no further.Cars are a blight to the city landscape.I am right. You are wrong.Fuck your power trip.
Haha, I also assumed she was american! I am so sorry, Sally. That only makes me extra determined to do the opposite :bobby: You are actually making a bit of sense here :2thumbsup: I definitely prefer the look of older cars.
That seems like common sense if you need a spare part or something, you usually know the year and type of engine.
If I really need to know, it's in my car papers. And if I need anything repaired, I bring it to someone who can fix it and trust them to know what parts are needed.
1987 Volvo and I was 21 years old.. I named him Egg. I pretty much think all cars are ugly and a toll on the Earth. Volvos have personality though. Kind of wish I still had that car. It was dependable and safe but it needed a lot of work done and I ended up selling it. It looked just like this one, same color too..
'63 Dodge Dart Gt. I musta been 18. Bucket seats (rare at the time), slant six engine. I installed a 4 barrel carb, which over fueled the engine, threw away the air cleaner and loosened the exhaust so it sounded better. Put 14" foot wide tires on the back with helper springs to clear the fenders and 13" 6" wide tires on the front. Cut an opening in the hood for a scoop, installed a tach out of 12 cylinder XKE, so it never read the right RPMs. Got messed up with a Pagan biker and air brushed the interior by spraying dots all over the place that ran down the sides of the doors, etc. Had it for a few years. Lost the brakes on it four times, took out 33 mail boxes the night the Grunt came back from Nam and had to weld on a complete left rear end walk around, left the road one time at 100mph+/_ and took out a wheat field...stopped to replace the rear tire that popped off and then continued on my way. Blew the dip stick right out of the engine block once, almost rolled it in the snow, drove for a year with no reverse gear, and finally blew out the whole transmission. Great car. Best part was it had two little doors under the dash you could open by hand, by reaching down under there. You could stuff an entire 6 pack of beer or other misc. and close the door and no one knew it was there. In the winter the beer stayed cold.
First bike was a 69' OSSA 250 Pioneer Enduro. Monster bike for the time. Road legal all out racer, hand balanced crankshaft, roller bearings, etc. I also had a few adventures with this thing.
1994 chevy cavalier i got it for 100 bucks in 2004 i think. i don't recall how many miles it had on it (actually kilometers since it was a canadian car) here's a picture from like 8 years ago: i think it lasted me a little over 2 years. then i got a 1997 ford taurus for $3100 that lasted me about 7 years. it only had ~135,000 miles on it when i sold it in december for $420
