I have this guitar and i totally love it. Couldn't think of one I would rather have. (Not actually my guitar, but I have the exact same one)
Haven't played too many different electric's yet.. But my favorites would have to be the Fender strat and the Epiphone Sheraton. I feel the Sheraton has an awesome tone! Perfect for the style of music i play :sunny:
Excluding the FSR Standard Tele at my local Guitar Center? Out of my own guitars, that'd be this one: Gibson Firebird 70's Tribute from late 2011 or early 2012
My favorite guitar was a Les Paul Studio but the neck snapped off and its not fixable. I'm poor now, so I decided to try something. Bought a 200$ chinese copy of a LP junior made by Axl guitars (American Company). Its made mahogany just like a real LP, but the electronics in it are junk. It came with a p90 style pickup. I took that out, routed the body to acomodate a humbucker, put in the bridge pickup and volume pot from my Les Paul, didnt even bother putting a tone pot on. I LOVE that guitar. It sounds and plays awesome, and it makes me want to never pay over 1000$ for a guitar again.
I really love my Epiphone Les Paul Plus Standard Top edition for eclectic and my Yamaha classical guitar. both sound so clean and beautiful, all that you need is a soul
I can't do the SG's. I feel they are poorly balanced and always tend to dip forward when playing standing up.
I played a '70 SG for years, can't say it was a particular favorite though. No offence but god those trem tailpieces were hideous lol
I think les paul's sound heavier than SG's. They are thicker, heavier, and have better resonance. IMO, LP>SG 100% of the time
ive had some many guitars over the years. but some guitars ive not had .. im just thankful i have this piece of timber now. .
Gorgeous, guitars, everyone...They made me think of this song. I don't have a guitar...(sorry, I don't know what all that stuff at the end of this video is all about) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_8DgAneFQg"]Guitar Man - Bread (David Gates 1972) - Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Billy Joel, Nellie McKay - YouTube
