I can see this 100%. Have you thought about looking into this further? You definitely write very well, and I couldn't imagine it being too difficult for you to get a paid gig.
Male nurse.Basically I am a very self-serving person.I wish I could change this and do something of help to people.Being a nurse must be a very satisfying job, very social and interesting.
Singer with my own messages....but since I am not an awesome singer...I have to stay with artwork and writing.....That is ok....but it must be awesome to sing to large groups of people all of the time.
It depends on 2 things mostly: motivation and the job market. If nurses are in demand one can get a job even when you're in your 40s and have little work experience. If not, well yeah... then it is hard even if you're motivated. They will generally go with either the applicants who have work experience or those who are young. I saw it in another field of work: they really should have hired the 40 something year old guy I talked with just before we both had the interview, instead of me. I got myself in, despite havng the knowledge and experience. He knew it all but was probably deemed to old (they don't mention that as the reason of course).
my dream job would be dreaming. and then my dreams being used as planning recomendations for infrastructure and design. you know, i download from my mind to make concept art. the process isn't quite that whimsical though. i have spent my life figuring out how some kinds of things work. i've of course focused on those that interest me. which a lot of general social interaction doesn't. so i'm not really the one to do anything politically, other then share my opinions on that, but making useful and fun infrastructure and their technologies considerate of environmental realities has been kind of my eternal hobby.
