ok...I left (clicked the X) and came back...now I'm once again looking at dark purple and then black typing posts...so it all looks about the same - unless you hold a flashlight up to the screen.

Even though complete understanding is not necessary to me...dang this is unreal and aggravating.

After I hit post reply I wonder if I'll still be seeing black on purple that will all straighten up after I go to "home".

 

yep still black on dark purple - but this little posting box is kind enough to have the lavender background. lol

 

and for 3 in a row...that is what it seems I need to do to see the forum as I normally do - post and see black on dark purple and then go to the home page and BAM! fixed

That's a double negative. 'I don't have nothing to say' kind of means 'It is not the case that I have nothing to say but rather the case that I have something to say.'
