ive been banned.....i think 3 maybe 4 times...plus half a dozen warnings.....pretty she the broonanator has been too.......we kind of police ourselves here in this forum neo...the mod is orison and he does a good job but its kind of known this particular thread is all of us telling each other when we are being dicks......we generally don't report each other even though we should every fucking day lol....no way broony would do that shit in another section.......at least that's my take on the situation

It seems to depend per subforum and mod. In one subforum i already know in advance your post in my quote here, and my reaction to it would be deleted. In this thread and subforum im far less sure.
I know the official forum approved way to question this is in a PM. But there are several unofficial rules too, like not talking about politics in the Whats happening thread.
In a serious thread about for example a very topical issue as school shootings going off topic may result in deletion of posts much sooner than in a less serious thread about for example Trudeau declaring war on 'mankind'
Nox always went over the edge in the end in the wrong threads. Also, certain regulars are hold to a higher standard than others who are obviously trolling or charging their opinions to generate more attention. This does not result in the quality posters getting some slack, but more so the other way around. The people who succesfully generate attention for a certain topic (by using dubious methods, so other folks HAVE to correct them) are only removed if they really generated as much warnings as general forum activity. And even then sometimes still aren't.

Basically, certain mods moderate certain forums? Which is why some things slide in one forum but not in another?

If that's what's going on, then that explains a lot. A lot.
