It's hard to pick favourites, I'm one of those people that haven't had many bad experiences despite how many different drugs I've tried, the only drug I doubt I'd take again was Methylphenidate (Ritalin) and most of the others were all awesome for their own reasons. But, if it came down to it (bear in mind this list will probably be different by tomorrow, and the day after, and so on, since it changes depending on my mood): 1. aMT - How could this not have my top spot, a roll and a trip in one drug, and it does both better than most psychedelics/empathogens imo.. It also cured me of my lifelong anxiety in one single trip. 2. GBL - Just discovered this one last week, and it's probably the most euphoric depressant I've taken, beats even opium, wonderful drug, mixes nicely with alcohol and the great part is I don't look like I'm on "drugs", just drunk, aside from dilated pupils. 3. Ketamine - This one'll always have a soft spot in my heart after bringing me my first brushes with ego death. A wonderful spiritual chemical that can be a fantastic tool when used correctly, very addictive and dangerous if abused but I never had that much trouble with that side of it. 4. MDMA - This was a close one, almost a tie with 6-APB, since 6-APB is more of the "ecstasy" I was expecting - but MDMA has a unique relaxed magic to it that makes it one of my all time favourites, I mean.. what's not to love? 5. 2C-E - It was hard making the fifth choice but I think I decided I had to go with one that's become almost like an extra limb for me, I've tripped on 2C-E so many times and become so comfortable with this psychedelic I feel it's one of the most valuable psychedelics for me to take because I know my way around it so well. Fantastic substance with so much value lying beneath the façade of wonderful visuals. Honourable mentions (I'll probably miss some): 1) DMT 2) 4-AcO-DMT 3) 4-HO-MET 4) 2C-B 5) 6-APB 7) DOB I have a great love for weed and synthetic cannabinoids too but I don't think I could bring myself to list them because I've gained pretty much all I need from them and could easily live the rest of my life without them now, while all of the other mentions I hope to get many more experiences with and would feel terribly hurt if I couldn't. Aw but that's cheating.. If we can do it that way though.. 1. 5-HT2A agonist psychedelics (At the end of the day psychedelics will always be the most valuable substances to me after everything they've shown me and helped me accomplish) 2. NMDA antagonist dissociatives (Ketamine, DXM, MXE, I love you guys.) 3. Triple monoamine releasing empathogens (MDMA, 6-APB, 5-APB, Mephedrone etc) 4. GABA-A agonist depressants (Alcohol, GBL, Etizolam, Clonazepam, Etaqualone) 5. Norepinephrine-Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitors aka NDRIs (MDPV!!!!!, Ethylphenidate) This time the honourable mentions would go to Cannabinoid agonists (AM-2201 and all the cannabinoids in weed itself mainly) and mu-opioid agonists (Mainly, Opium itself) If I'm giving an order like you did, then: 1. Psychedelics - aMT > 2C-E/DOB > 4-AcO-DMT/4-HO-MET/DMT/2C-B > Everything else 2. Dissociatives - Ketamine > MXE/DXM 3. Empathogens - MDMA just about > 6-APB > Mephedrone > 5-APB 4. Depressants (all this time?) - GBL > Opium > Buprenorphine > Etizolam > Etaqualone > Clonazepam > Alcohol 5. Stimulants (all) - MDPV > Methylone > Cocaine > Methiopropamine > Amphetamine > Ethylphenidate > Pentedrone Yes I listed Methylone under stimulants rather than Empathogens, I don't feel it's serotonergic enough, it felt to me closer to cocaine and MDPV in a lot of ways than to MDMA. With a lot of those substances, in particular with the psychedelics, I feel they're all just as great as each other and the ranking is just which I'd prefer to take right now.
