Hi! I'm a 24yr old black HS Teacher looking to meet new friends and have some fun. I love white guys, btw.
I would say most if not all of us here could care less what color you are. Welcome! We have folks from all over the world here. Participate, have fun, learn some new things and make some new friends.
Welcome to HIP - where issues are not always Black and White - they can be like a Spectrum of Colour - Myriad
I really like college classes. I've taken my share, and have the utmost respect for my professors; only one of whom was black (the political science professor). I don't hold race very high on my list of criteria for being an instructor and want to encourage you to follow any and all of your aspirations. I don't really count myself as a person of color; though I'm part Hispanic I look relatively Caucasian when among my fellow Mexican people. But I have a history as well as an interest with race and ethnicity, and I tend to align myself with the interests of people of color in terms of immigration, law enforcement, and even economic interests; like what job opportunities are available to people of color and what kind of money people of color can expect to make in these positions compared to their white peers. So welcome! This forum can be dicey but is also a valuable outlet and I like to think a cultural resource for people of all shapes, sizes, cultures, and creeds. Welcome aboard, @TheWrightStuff!
no idea why, but i've always thought you were black. also, i was thinking it was weird that you've only had one black professor, but then off the top of my head i can only think of one that i had too. on the other hand, i've had a lot of professors and i've definitely forgotten some of them.
