A lot of the time I asked questions here just because Google-- and all of the big ones just is not what it used to be. About half of the things I'm looking for used to pop up in my searches all the time but no longer due and I'm tired of talking about WHY now that I don't have to. It's called PreSearch. -- if you put it in firefox as an extention and allow it to be your default search engine, it searches the entire internet for results. Some search engines do this, but they are geared towards dark web results and bitcoin scams get favored placement. this strips out all the bullshit and uses internet archieve like the wayback machine too. Now I type a question and I get results based on what I type and nothing else. love it!!!! life changing, The search engine isn't tryng to push anything on me! I'm rejoicing. So far I've asked obscuse questions or used a couple of terms not commonly used togther and I get all the places on the searchable internet where that question was asked or answered! With google I'm lucky if I get anything ... there I go. Peace out! No more bitching and moaning about it.
With the growth of the internet, it becomes more difficult, since their are tens of millions of results. What always amazes me, is that by searching "A cold coming we had of it", Google finds the poem 'The journey of the Magi' by TS Eliot within seconds.
