    Maybe you thought this part of your shoelaces didn’t have a name. However, it’s called an aglet, and it’s meant to allow laces to fit easily into the holes in your shoes without splitting.

    I have one of those on the end of my "lace" But I don't call mine an Aglet.:astonished:

    I don't wear shoes with laces, - all my shoes have Velcro strips which enables me to slip them on and off without having to bend, a task I can no longer accomplish.

    That makes life easier.
    Velcro was invented with the idea of sticky grass.

    i know there is very powerful magic in knowing that you don't know what you don't.

    (also monster is a code word for prejudice, strange or alien are less loaded and more honest)

    emotionally laden phrasing is seldom trustworthy.
