I'm not embarrassed to say that, I don't understand much if any of that.

But when they start of with its an "observation" I can't solidify that as concrete evidence. Not that any of my claims are evidence, I just think they're fun. :)

An analogous example would be like think of Video Game Systems, they doubled in bits with every generation: NES was 8 bits, Snes 16 bits, PS1 32 bits, N64 64 bits, PS2 128 bits, etc...

But what does that mean? I get it, like things get bigger and better. I still remember 16mb voodoo graphics cards 15 years ago, now I have a 12gig card lol.

But we've gone from stone temples thousands of years ago, to the same stone temples, 3 thousand years ago to stone temples in the 1500s americas, to simple building techniques in Europe, to structural steel buildings in the 50s to printing a house out on a computer 60 years later. That's a big leap.

Unless you're suggesting that with bigger gaming cards and systems inevitably you're able to achieve bigger and better things as this progresses.

It should be clear by now that these Aliens are Interdimensional beings from hyperspace that coexist alongside our own? They are as curious of us, as we are of them.

I don't deny that there are interesting examples from prehistory that are hard to explain with the standard model most academics push. And intriguing stories and myths about strange visitors. I don't deny ancient aliens completely but they don't seem to be around now unless they are very invisible or cohabiting with world Governments. I can see the attraction of such beliefs because they answer questions to the unfathomable mysteries of life. But maybe the question now is not so much "Do you believe in God" but "Do you believe in aliens." And that instead of waiting for Jesus we are waiting for the Mothership to return. I don't know how to feel about this.

Oh I think they're around, but everybody knows that unleashing this truth would cause widezpread panic.

Now what I truly believe is, in a few generations there won't be much of any "religion" the world will breed atheism and all these ancient alien shows now are propaganda tools to get us used to the idea that these things and reality do in fact exist.

Its a small stepping stone, but necessary none the less for one day the public won't be left in the dark and it'll be dropped on us. They're just getting it into gear.

Also a recent documentary, aliens on the moon had Buzz Aldrin as a host and he was a believer from what I saw. Now if theres anyone people should believe it has to be an astronaut, right?

He's also fighting for the suggestion of alien made structures on Mars. Why would someone of his calibre make that up?

It means by Moore's Law, the amount of transistors able to fit on a microprocessor double every other year from the 1960's, it allows for a multiplicative amount of computing power.

Here I did a computation to show what that might look like going from 1965 to 2012 starting with 2 transistors.

    @hotwater

A picture I just took from a book I got as a child lol. And I still freak myself out looking at this stuff like I was hesitant to go in the study on my own to open this book because when I was a child I was deathly afraid of alien abduction.

I'm not so scared anymore as I have a few bones to pick with them and if they can help my dwindling eye site, so be it.

As you can tell by a dumb kids book, I've been interested, fascinated and horrified by the thought of Aliens since I was a kid. Though it wasn't until 8 years ago that I heard of the ancient alien theory. I dismissed it straight away with genuine distain. "well that's st00pid" but then one day I was reading Egyptian mythology and transcript and I came up with that same concept of ancient aliens, without even really know ancient alien theory.

So I began reading outdated and scientifically inaccurate books as you do, and I got really into it. I still differ from a lot of other ancient alien enthusiasts in my beliefs. I'm very drawn to the Sumerian sagas, as Zechariah Sitchin was the first author i read multiple books. I don't know why he is shrugged aside now, I'm just guessing whatever he thought in the 60s and 70s is outdated now. I can only assume that the science behind it was garbage, but that wasn't really the point.

The TV show ancient aliens, I think a lot of the time is st00pid, but once in a while is a good episode that's at least plausible in my mind. I don't particularly take to underwater cities and UFO bases under water, it's just not my thing, I don't imagine things that way. I don't dismiss them, I just don't care really. I can't breathe underwater so I can't find out anyway. Lol. Though I know if aliens really did visit earth then underwater is a total good spot and they'd surely have the technology to submerge their craft, I mean they have come from a long way away probably using worm holes and hyper drives and the Mellenium Falcon. I just not into them.

I like different people opinions and perceptions on glyphs and mythology. Every one is different so we all have our different interpretations and perceptions of things, so to hear one person's thought versus what another thinks about the exact same thing is interesting.

I tell y'all this interesting post because I know many of you are aware at how defensive I can get over these subject when I'm proven wrong, so I thought I'd just let you know my knowledge was mostly flawed to begin with. ignorance is bliss. :innocent:

    :tearsofjoy:

If anyone has modern books about it, please tell me some good ones. Only if the author genuinely believes what their writing though, I don't read any skeptic stuff, I want them to have passion, so no posers.

I wrote extraterrestrials instead of aliens for a reason ;)
Yes, its far more likely if we are visited that it will not be in our advantage.

Depends if they want the same thing we want (resources) and how well communication goes

I think aliens want nothing to do with us because we're a destructive species, even when it interferes with our own wellbeing. Think of it from an alien's perspective. A species that damages the only known planet they can survive on, kills each other over whose God has the bigger dick, an endless pursuit of paper to pay someone to live here even though no one owns the Earth, and basically fighting those same fights over and over from the beginning of time. We think we've progressed, but in fact we don't learn from remembering our history, we just do it with fancier gadgets.

No wonder they don't visit. Either that or the only life that's nearby is just a bunch of bacteria or something.
