You have to remind people to not hunt in a school zone lol. What are some funny "you know you're here" things about where you live?
That's a matter of opinion, dude. I love where I live. Don't like it here? Cool, stay away. The lower the population, the better.
It has it's good and bad like any other place. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else though. I'm in Alcova today. You should check out the pics I posted in the wilderness getaway thread.
Are you shackled up in someone's basement here? I hate when that happens. I don't believe I've heard of that.
The city I live in has signs at the north and south end of town saying "Welcome to (this town)" The one on the south end of town is positioned next to a one way street making the welcome to town sign right next to a "Do not enter" sign...... So much for the welcome.
Well, you can continue to pout through the storm, or you can choose to dance in the rain. Find stuff to love. Go hiking, camping, fishing, rock climbing, swim in the lakes, float down the rivers, go see a local band. Ya dig roller derby? We have a bout in Casper on September 7th. Grab some friends and come check it out.
Well to be honest I was being a little flip with my initial remark, I mean I'm actually making out OK. It wasn't my intention for it to be taken seriously. On the other hand I haven't found the local culture to my liking. I'm originally from the North East, and before coming here I was in England for about three years, so it has been quite an adjustment. Sound advice.
I hear ya. I'm always a little "flip" lol don't sweat it. Sounds like the air force life. When I was little, we lived in England for a few years as well. The culture is really different depending on what part of the state you're in. Hit me up sometime, I'll hook you up with fun stuff to do.
