Me personally. As a child I grew up with the influences of Maharishi yogi of the Beatles fame in the press circa 1967.

...being here and debating the labels we put on ourselves perhaps? Seeing the beauty of creation all around me even in the lowliest bug

you feel disconnected from everyday society, the corporate jungle, the ads that tell you to wear more makeup, the people who are like sheep to the glossy monthly magazines
you're in the city but would rather be barefoot, toes intwined with green grass
when you've let go of materialism, and have a true love for the simple things
when you wouldn't mind dropping everything to be with people like you
when nothing tastes as good as organics anymore
when hitchhiking is just another mode of transportation
when you don't mind being around complete strangers because meeting new people is a new adventure
you own natural fibers and wear them proudly amung those who flaunt overpriced threads
you havent gotten a haircut recently, and it doesn't matter at all because it feels right
