You Know You're a Hippie If...

You may be a hippy if 30 or 40 years ago you were explaining to people how rock music had to be played loud so that you can really hear all the nuiances of the music. But today you have to play it loud just so you can hear it-----after listening to loud rock music for 30 or 40 years.

(Did I already tell you young kids about Blue Cheer? ...What? ...What?)

 

You may be a hippy if you can't understand what the heck your kids see in that damned Death Metal-----and you have no comprehension of why they can't see the tonal qualities, incredible genius, and the completely awe-inspiring beauty of those heavy acid-rock riffs from the late sixties.
