It's a family tradition! From back as far as I can remember, I've been singing along with that song! I come from hippie stock!

You might be a hippy if you ever thought a dune buggy was just as good for every day driving as it was for taking out on the dunes.

 

You may be a hippy if you grew up watching the Addam's Family---and somehow wanted to emulate them. (and who wouldn't want to do something like when Morticia asked a visitor, "Do you mind if I smoke?" To which the visitor replied, "Go right ahead." But then became mortified as smoke started rising up off of Morticia's body.-----even the Merry Pranksters couldn't pull that off).

You are definitely a hippy if you grew up watching Father Knows Best, Leave it to Beaver, and Dennis the Menace, and thought they were funny, BUT the blatant ethics and morality portrayed bugged the hell out of you (and you hoped you would never be anything like them).
