You know what sucks about the end of the world?

The world's going to fall apart before 2012. The Mayans couldn't take into consideration the vast scale of idiocy in the American financial/political system...

It doesn't become such a date all at once. It becomes that date while the rest of the world is still yesterday, so does the world end in Japan the day before the world ends in New York, or does England disappear before Australia. I wonder if there will be a lot of going out of business bargains. Will our bills be prorated due to the shortened month.

one that every time it doesn't happen according to one prediction, someone invariably comes along and makes another prediction of it.

what even do you mean by a town or a nation "disappearing".

ghost towns and ruins exist because there reasons to exist and or means of existing dry up over a period of time, almost always spanning years, decades or even centuries. not something that normally happens in a single day.

 

It's not gonna happen man...even NASA said so.
The whole thing about the world ending came up because that stupid calendar happens to end in 2012... and the reason why it actually stops there is because all the mayans who made it died off after a while...so it HAD to stop somewhere...it makes the most sense, doesn't it? XD
