You know that big round cover on your ceiling fan

    i dunno about you but, i dont have a big round cover for my ceiling fan.. if i had one.

    but what i mean is, i've never seen one.

    its a cover that covers the motor assembly...on a hugger style fan

    Instructions are for people that don't want to waste time. You sound like a glutton for punishment.

    I've got better things to do with my time then to be repeatedly removing and re-inserting screws, just because I didn't have my thinking cap on.

    If I wanted to be removing and re-inserting screws, I'd get a room, and a sheep. :cool:

    yes...in summer it blows air down...in the winter you reverse it
