http://youtu.be/dsUXAEzaC3Q Hear this on the radio today, hadn't heard it in ages Backup vocals always made me laugh....weely weely bad....very masculine way of letting everyone know your bad
I remember it well....I saw this live 3 nights in a row while working his shows in Toronto....it was one of the better ''shows'' ive been to....and ive been to a couple thousand shows
A couple thousand shows? Wow! Can you share with me some that were very, very bad? I'm incredibly curious....
that is a tough question....I was working many of those shows and way too stoned at many others....you really have thrown me for a loop here ash....no one has ever asked me that .growing up with a father who was deep into the concert business I was spoiled rotten with concert tickets....there were many shows where an entire row on the floor was filled with my friends....I loved going to shows so much that I wasn't discerning ....I went to everything my sister is still in the business and hooks me up these days but due to concert overload nowadays I am very picky about shows....I like small venues now....no more crowds
Yes, 7/10 tracks made it as singles with substantial airplay Ironically, the one with Stevie wonder wasnt one of them PS: I also think its his best dance video, even though he either didnt realise how cheesy it or was actually parodying himself....the timing is excellent, he really has his groove down
I've thrown you for a loop? Wow...didn't see that coming... I know what you mean about the crowds. I can't stand the crowds. Obviously if it is an artist that I really want to see, then I will go to whatever venue they are playing at, but I must prefer the smaller, more intimate venues. That is way, WAY cool that your dad was in the concert business and you grew up going to shows with your friends. I've been to a fair number of shows myself, but for the most part have always had to find the money for the concert ticket myself. This year, unfortunately, because our dollar is so low, concert tickets for the bands coming through town are ridiculously expensive, so I haven't had the opportunity to go to as many shows as I would have liked. That is okay, though, because I've had a great run the last few years. Anyways, let me know if you can answer my original question. I am still very interested to know.
