  1. And can fly anywhere you want

Where are you going to fly?

I would Fly to Ohio and help my nephew.
Then fly to New Mexico to help my brother.
These are your wings, take care of them

Yes, but can I fly fast enough? Would it still be more efficient to fly commercial, or would manual be better hands down?

your airline serves wings? usually you're lucky to get a stale cracker on a flight.

Nowhere in particular, just around here. Fun to be able to get up and down the cliffs with ease.

yes, but they're vestigial, and not even a flea is light enough to be supported by them in flight.
on the other paw, anti-gravity levitation is a thing. the wings are merely symbolic and have nothing to do with it.

there is no gravity in computer generated animation unless you specifically and deliberately put it there.

the only drawback to that, is that there's nothing else there until you put it there either.
this is of course true for traditional cell based animation as well.

the waking universe and the one in dreams, neither suffer this limitation,
but alas in the waking one, gravity is stubborn.

in the dream one it can be adjusted though.

we have gas bags, that are blown where the wind will take them.
in some ways these work better then wings.

all you need is a lot of hot air, and this is a commodity we seldom fall short of.

where would i go? wherever i liked the looks of whatever was below.

not some rumored place some one has mentioned.
or one still photo taken there from one angle in one place has shown me.

but up there, to see what i'm actually looking at.
the green places with delightefully minimal from factor infrastructure.

no paved roads or parking lots.
only launching pads, because you can never line up on one perfectly enough to call it a landing pad.

well no, that's only for gas and hot air bags.

and fixed wing craft have to land and take off in a streight line.
    that's not good either.

birds though, those wings are too much like work too.
something more like a gas bag but with directional propulsion,
and of course without the dangers associated with them.

yes, i like solid state gravity modulation modules,
even if they only come in inconvenient quantum sizes.

but a small single module is just right to scoot around on.

somewhere, on some green world, with a sapeint population,
who embraces the logic of not trying to tell each other what to pretend,
    but instead encourage each other,
    to imagine their own possibilities,
to each be their own god, creating their own worlds,
each with their own natural and unnatural wonders.

And I'd fly back to Zagreb, Croatia for 2 more weeks if my employer allowed me the time off
