LooseChange: Final Cut will be released into theaters in about 3 weeks...
Should be an interesting next month.

As far as violence is concerned, we don't need it. Clogging the ruling's elite's arteries would be a sufficient next step. (ie. extended tax strikes, refusing to go to work, non-violent street actions, manipulating the corporate media, etc).

That actually sounds like a great idea...I know I would watch a random free DVD that was sent to me through mail. I'm up for this! And if it doesn't work, we think of plan B :D

The quote at the end of this film suggests "The Revolution is Now". I agree that that's what would be needed, but how does that start, when, and where? After watching this film, I woke up at 4 this morning thinking about what next. I don't know - - - I've posted links to this on myspace page, and intend to share it with others as much as I can. Maybe burning dvd's is a good idea - I'm thinking I'll find a way to show this on a wall somewhere in my downtown.

If you haven't taken the time to watch this, please do.

My advise is to spread the truth far and wide to whoever will listen. Bring up catch phrases that aren't easily forgettable, such as "false flag terrorism" and "martial law", etc. There are currently plenty of activist groups preparing for the ground showdown. But we need to organize and network better.

For this to be successful, communication and organization are absolutely essential.

Before I watch it, someone please tell me, is it one of those videos with:

    - sinister music?
    - someone narrating in a sinister voice?
    - no concrete evidence?
    - lots and lots of footage of things like policemen in riot gear?

If so, I won't be watching it.

Now, don't get me wrong. IF a government was trying to take away its citizens rights, I'd be one of the first to complain. However, before anything can be done you need serious evidence. You can't topple a government just because you're discontent and suspicious. Also, you need to think about what happens next. What if the majority of people don't like your alternative? You'd end up being the tyrants. If something is going to be done, it needs to be done honestly, openly, and with public support. Especially, it needs to be done peacefully if possible.

Yo just watched the movie, really liked the first part on religion because it was just interesting, not terrifying. The world is fucked up and I liked how they posed to solution to our problems as love and not running up on the crackers in city hall. It also played a clip at the end of Ram Dass talking about how on LSD you see the similarities between people, not the diff. Great movie!

And for the dude above me, the narrartor has a great voice, the first 30 minuets are how christianity is based on Astrology like many religions before it, first part is the best, No riot cops, and there is no such thing as concrete evidence. And if you don't think rights are being removed in the war on terror you don't get enought news. US citizens have already been detained without charge in military prisions, and if right to privacy is a right it is being chipped away at too.
