This new forum seems to be very racist tbh. And too busy. Like, you come back five minutes later and it's 2-3 pages long. =\

 

Racism is so frustrating to me. If you are going to hate a person hate them for being an asshole not their skin color. I deal with it with my grandpa all the time. He hates his neighbor because she is an African immigrant but everyone else in the neighborhood (white also) likes her at least.

 

Not everyone is going to like everyone and I can accept that. Some cultures just aren't going to be accepted by everyone and I think it's unfair to assume everyone MUST or SHOULD welcome everybody with an open hand. That might seem "humanitary" but it's also a load of bullshit IMO. Everyone has their own INDIVIDUAL thoughts and doctrines. Whether they're accepting of everyone is up to personal interpretation and I don't think it's fair to judge someone for being bad because their ideology clashes with mine.

I draw the line at dumb racism like being upset somebody prays at lunch time at work, or wears a burqa or something. That's just dumb silly racism to me. Pointless, begrudging, having a whine just for the sake of it. Basically if it's not effecting your personal life, which in this case I don't believe it does, you need to get over it.

What can be annoying though, is hating someone because they annoy you, or you just don't like them, and they happen to be a different race or color and then you're a racist for that. :dizzy2:

 

I see what you mean; like a person is really deserving of your dislike so you dislike them because they are a crappy person, and if they happen to be a different skin tone or religion then your whole reason for disliking them gets pushed aside and people say it's only because you're racist.

That happened with the people in my neighborhood.

 

kind of like the oscars...racists because no blacks made good movies 2 years running...

 

They're complaining about that too.

 

Now I'm always being thrown accusations about my racism, but I really just play it out. I don't want to be one of those people, but I just hate everyone as a whole really and there's wayyyy more white folks I dislike than any other folks.

I stereotype for sure, but it's more out of good fun and the laughs, I don't put much emphasis behind it. Sure, I hate the ISIS type of Muslims, but I know all Muslims aren't bad people either.

I just find it very ironic in a lot of ways. Take the police force for example, so many equalitists scream blue murder we are all to be treated equal, a few bad eggs isn't the whole dozen. But then they point fingers at the police force as a whole when an officer gets busted doing the wrong thing. I don't think that's fair.

My miss doesn't speak like me in terms of gangsta stuff and phrases but she just turned and looked at me and says "I think I hear the Po Po" so I just look at her and giggle and then she says "what? Is that a hint that I just should not use words like that?"

 

Irmi, your Miss sounds like just the cutest thing with you...but something tells me she'd be hell on wheels with anybody else. You've told us how she is sweet and easy with the dog (which I would be the same way), and its usually the easy going people at home that can be something else when confronted outside home.

Don't mess with our hearts...we can be a force to contend with. :devil:

The funniest thing I heard my miss say to a stranger Lynn was...

We were walking home one night last the shops looking for something to eat and an old grubby man sitting on a bench near a bus stop says something derogatory to us. Disgusting sleaze. And she glares at him -.- and says "these heels crush lungs old man!"

That was several years ago though. Hehe. We do share a similar black humor and sarcastic humor. I think she was just disgusted with this guy that night. I was proud though. it completely shut him up. Back in those days we'd wear some hardy and sexy tall black boots and you wouldn't want to be stomped on.
