I did that to my toe about a month ago and broke the sucker......hurt like crazy.

Toes are not meant to have that done to them and after once, I am not going to do it again..... ;)

I soaked mine in warm water until it stopped bleeding and then used ice bags to rest my foot on. According to the doctor that was it.....worked but took weeks to stop hurting.

Hope that yours is feeling a little less tender soon.

Heat are you saying that you broke a toe and all you did was stick it in water and ice it up. Did it heal crooked or did you see the doc before or shit did you break it back in place? I think if i ever broke a finger id man it out and pop it back in place, id be a little scared of making it worse but i think you can tell which way makes it worse and which way fixes it right up. Dont follow the pain.

Unless it is your big toe then there is very little that can be done for it. It has healed straight and without problems. Though the pain was enough for about 2 weeks as any pressure on it from even a slipper hurt.

If it had of been at all crooked the doctor told me that they would of taped it to the other toes to straigten it....but it was a clean break and healed fine.

Fingers are different as they splint those but toes are difficult to splint. Probably the also splint fingers as your hand is in constant use. Not really sure just a guess on that one. :)

I did that the other day. I cracked the nail, it bled, etc. It's okay now.
