Yesterday I Was Carded To Buy A Feckin Movie

for johns birthday yesterday, i bought matrix revolutions to complete his set. the man behind the counter asked if i was 17 or older.
i said, um yeah i am almost 30. you could have knocked him over with a feather.

i hate looking so much younger than my age.
do people generally think you look older, younger, or your age?

 

I got carded for a lighter.

 

That is so funny Marie! You are just like one of my friends, she is almost 30 and looks like she is 16.

No one can ever decide how old I look. I've had people think I was only 14 and I've also had people who thought I was 25. So I just don't know.

and thats like nina... shes 22 and everyone thinks shes 16. but for me, everyone thinks im older, no complaints about that.

I do not wish to reveal my age, but I do get mistaken for being much younger. I think I inherited it since my mom was carded for a rated R movie when she was 42! Hey in today's youth obsessed culture you should be pleased, no need for plastic surgery *barf*, I'd never get that

 

i had a lady refuse to sell me a blunt after seeing my id once, she said it was fake and she could tell i was only 15. i am 21 what the hell?????????????????

 

Im never carded cause I usually only buy stuff in 1 city where a lot of people know me
then when I go other places it seems nobody cares to do so....

 

Yeah its getting really bad b/c my 12 year old cousin is almost taller than me so now him and my other little cousin were calling me munchkin, which is annoying.

And i had pigtails and i was at a high school function, at the school I used to go to and a lot of people that knew me before were saying 'oh you still look 15' which I guess is probably true. I usually hear b/t 15-17.

Cherrish the fact that you are getting carded Marie,I used to get carded all the time.But that was quite a long time ago,I wish I would get carded now a days.Don't ever regret looking younger than you are,it's a gift people fail to appreciate.Enjoy it as long as you can.

 

people generally think i'm younger than i really am....i still get carded for the R-rated movies...i take it as a huge compliment.....i'll enjoy my youthful looks while they last...

 

People taught i was 18 while im only 16 yearz old...

 

Forever young

I am thirty three or something this June and most people that guess say I look 23~25...I get carded for everything too...it's cool, but it's a pain in the arse when you forget your ID.

 

I got carded for cigerettes twice last year which thrilled the hell out of me. I'm not saying how old I am but lets just say I'm old enough to be thrilled when I get carded for anything.

 

I've always been mistaken for someone older then I really am. Ever since I hit puberty at age 12, I've been told I look somewhere between 18-23. It's handy to have, because I rarely get ID'd when I go to the bar, or buy alcohol/cigarrettes. And when I do, I just whip out the fakie.
I'll be completely legal in 19days though! I can't wait!!

 

I have never looked my age. People always guess me to be younger.

 

I look so much younger than I acutally am but what can you do? It will pay off later in life.
