I don't think that Orwell was far off about Big Brother watching us. Considering the NSA, Fbi, and Cia uses technology to listen in during phone conversations or read email messages. I do think that those who are paranoid that the fuzz is out to get them using minor violations are quite justified. It's been proven it does happen. It reminds me of the "Paranoia runs deep/Into your mind it creeps?It starts when you are always afraid/Step out of line & the man comes to take you away" line from Buffalo Springfield.
