A whole stream of correct answers but not the one I was actually looking for. I wanted "cup" but the same principle applies for most of the objects mentioned. I especially like vacuum flask because the usefulness of the emptiness is doubled!!

Vacuum flasks are more useful when the non-vacuum part is filled with tea. Unless they are in temporary storage or you have tea that you want to take with you on a long walk in december, and all you have is a vacuum flask filled with shit.

 

To fill it with tea you would make use of its emptiness!

So when tea cools down it becomes shit? Does that mean when you heat shit up it becomes tea? That would explain the monkeys on the PG tips advert!

 

I am looking for my cryptic cross words to find some of the good clues i set, they are on discs somewhere.
